Washington

Washington is the capital of the United States of America, although it is not the largest city. It is situated on the Potomac River in the District of Columbia and was named after the first President George Washington. This beautiful city has many historical places: the White house, the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial.

New York

New York is the largest city in the USA, the financial centre of the country. It was founded in 1613 and it’s situated in the mouth of the Hudson River. There are five districts in the city: Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn and Richmond. New York is quite young, but there are a lot of places which attract tourists from all over the world.
